Ok, so you want to know how to make money with cpa. This means you already know that with cpa, you’re target audience doesn’t actually have to buy anything, they just have to sign up for something or download something, etc. You would think that it’s easier to
give something away than it is to sell something, but honestly that’s a big NO.
People are suspicious of anything that doesn’t cost money. With the number of scams floating around out there, it’s no wonder they aren’t as eager to accept freebies as you just being nice. Does this mean you can’t make money with CPA? No, CPA still makes a LOT of money if you are good, you just have to make people comfortable, and find a way to relate the cpa ad with the content of whatever site your traffic is on.
Relevance is important!
Not in all cases, but say you’ve set up a small arcade site. It is doubtful that you are going to get visitors to that site to sign up for car insurance quotes or bankruptcy support. But related, or even somewhat related ads can do well. So put a couple of banners for free game downloads, or an ad to sign up for a daily jokes newsletter. Along the same lines of what the traffic is there for, so there’s a higher chance that people will use your links and you can make money with your cpa ads. A Better Way
So, you have a handful of sites or pages or whatever with cpa ads on the side, but you want to make more with CPA. A few hundred a month in conversions aren’t enough for you and you want more. How do you make more money then? Make a single site around the CPA ad. There’s tons of people trying to push their CPA ads on squidoo, weebly, all the free site providers. You need to take the extra step and make an actual complete website just to push one CPA ad (or a handful of similar/related ads). So say you want to get some quizzes completed and make some money with it. Get you a domain name and hosting (look to the right, godaddy and hostgator go together like biscuits and gravy) and start a site about taking quizzes. Then just put in links to your CPA ads with info on the quiz it goes to, and people searching to take a quiz will find your site, take a quiz and you make money! They aren’t suspicious of you giving them something for free, because it’s exactly what they’re searching for. Instead of coming at them “hey want these quizzes, they’re free” and then opening your trench coat, you’re saying “I’ve made a list of fun quizzes for whoever’s looking”. A lot less aggressive (and won’t get you chased by the cops, lol)
So, how do you make money with CPA? You put in the effort, use related to content ads or make the ads the content, and you stick with it. Won’t happen over night. One step at a time, set a goal for getting $100 a month from CPA, once you reach that challenge yourself to reach $500 a month, then $1000, and so on. If you are determined and dedicated and driven enough to succeed with anything, you will succeed. It works with CPA and anything else you want to do.
